Why study at our grammar school
You may be asking why study at our grammar school? Our school is located in a picturesque region near Brno. You can choose from a number of projects that you can participate in during your studies. First, our graduates have a very high university acceptance rate.
Let's take a look at some of our projects and learning options. At our grammar school you can choose from two languages – German and French. English is compulsory. You can also pass two internationally recognized English exams – PET (level B1) and FCE (level B2 or C1).
During your studies, you can visit a number of European countries. We often go to Germany or Austria. You can also travel for ten days to Great Britain. We have very good contacts with members of European Parliament, which is why we go to Brussels or Strasbourg almost every year.
Every year we go to the mountains twice – to the Czech Republic and to Austria. You can also take part in a rafting course. A week after joining our grammar school, you will go on an adaptation course, where you will get to know your classmates.
Do you like competitions? You can participate in a number of competitions and Olympics – from Czech language, English, History, Geography, Physics, Maths, Biology and Chemistry. Our students won national physics competition “I know why!“.
Our school is small – we have only ten classes – and that’s a big advantage. Students know each other through the years. And also teachers know us very well, so they can discover our talent and help us. We have a functioning school parliament, whose chairman communicates with the school principal. So, if you have an idea to improve the school, you can contact the parliament, which will deal with your request.
